Update: Marijuana To Soon Be Treated Like Alcohol And Tobacco.

It looks like the U.S. Government may have come to the same conclusion that everyone else has. End marijuana prohibition.

I think it's safe to say most people are ready for the Marijuana Prohibition to end.

Not only because marijuana prohibition should not have happened in the first place. But because there are many "good people" that smoke marijuana (Sorry Jeff Sessions, but it's true).

People from all walks of life smoke, eat or even vape Marijuana.

Some of these good people have had their lives ruined by marijuana. Not from the marijuana itself, but from the consequences of getting caught with it.

There was a bad decision made in 1937 when the Marijuana Tax Act came into effect. Because of this, the scheduling of a flower is the same as it is for a hard drug. There are many people now, 80 years later, that are still having their lives turned upside down due to this.

What Might Happen When The Government Reschedules Marijuana?

When the government reschedules Marijuana. This will put it in the same classification as Alcohol and Tobacco. Marijuana will have the same rules applied to it like alcohol and tobacco when this happens.

People at the age of 21 and older will be able to buy Marijuana like buying a beer or a pack of cigarettes. Colorado and Washington may be good indicators of how it will be. Teenage use will drop through out the U.S. and the employment rate will go up (more jobs will be available).

Our money that's been going to the drug cartels in Mexico and other countries will be staying in the U.S. It will benefit us in a lot of ways.

New medicines will be researched from THC, CBD and many other components of marijuana. Physicians will be prescribing these new medicines for many different ailments.

More of the states will start legalizing and decriminalizing cannabis so they can tax it.

Here is an inspiring article by Benjamin M. Adams that may mean there is hope for humanity.

If this bill passes, marijuana will be (treated on the federal level) like alcohol and tobacco.
