The Marijuana Closet - Coming Out

May 20, 2017

Have You Been Lied To?

Now that Marijuana has become legal (on the state level) in many states, more and more people are coming out of the marijuana closet and realizing that they are not a minority anymore.

1937, that's when the prohibition on marijuana started, that's when the Marijuana Tax Act was initiated and that is when the big lies started.

Your grandparents were lied to, your parents were lied to and you are also being lied to.

According to NORML (National Organization For The Reform Of Marijuana Laws), one of the leading organizations supporting legalizing marijuana, "Marijuana first earned recognition as an intoxicant in the 1920s and 1930s. During this time, exaggerated accounts of violent crimes allegedly committed by immigrants intoxicated by marijuana became popularized by tabloid newspapers and the newly formed Federal Bureau of Narcotics. Congress approved the "Marijuana Tax Act of 1937" based almost entirely on this propaganda and misinformation."

Marijuana has been unjustifiably classified as a schedule 1 drug which means it has no medical use and this is the strictest schedule of them all. This is also where heroin and all of the other extremely dangerous drugs are classified.

Currently, efforts are being made by many pro marijuana groups and organizations to have marijuana re-classified and taken off the schedule 1 list.

With the majority of people in the U.S. in favor of legalizing marijuana, it's only a matter of time before the prohibition on marijuana ends and people can get on with their lives as they did prior to the 1937  Marijuana Tax Act.

As these groups and organizations are growing in numbers it only shows that more people are coming out of the marijuana closet and doing their part to make marijuana legal and to make america great again.

According to a new Gallup pole, up to 60% of the people in the U.S. support the legalization of Marijuana.

The movement has started, people are coming out of the marijuana closet, people are starting to get educated, people are learning the benefits of medical marijuana and they are starting to realize that the only reason they were in a closet to begin with, was because someone had pulled the wool over their eyes and put them there..
